What We Do As Kiwanians for Our Children and for Our Community!

For over 80 years, the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua has been an active and benevolent part of the community in Canandaigua, NY. Perhaps you may even consider becoming a member and helping us in our mission to serve the children of the world. Membership benefits are numerous, including amazing volunteer opportunities, great social events, relationships with community-minded individuals, and of course service to children, seniors, veterans, and the community.

We volunteer. More than 700 hours annually to community service.

We raise funds, 100% of which are directly invested in the community. Over $45,000 in proceeds from our fundraisers support local children and organizations.

We award scholarships. Each year, $7,000 are awarded to high school seniors and college freshman.

We sponsor leadership opportunities for youth with Key Clubs at Canandaigua Academy and Marcus Whitman High School and for adults with disabilities with our Aktion Club at Ontario ARC.

Some of our recent service projects and activities include:
  • Holiday party at the Salvation Army with gifts and activities for children and their families
  • Easter Egg Hunt at the Canandaigua Primary/Elementary School with 9,000 eggs and dozens of gift basket and bicycle giveaways
